JOIN THE GRIZZLIES
We are always looking for new players and supporting members. No experience is necessary, just bring some cleats if you have them, and dress for a workout!
Completing your membership is a four step process:
Pay team membership fees for 2025. Be sure to complete the membership form during the checkout process.
Create a USAFL Player Account (only for new players or returning players who haven’t created a USAFL account yet)
Liability Waiver (Online - Non-players may skip this step)
USAFL League Registration (Non-players may skip this step)
1. Team Membership Fees
2025 Non-Rookie Player Membership: $165 (Includes a free piece of team swag, while supplies last)
2025 Rookie Player (First Year with Seattle Grizzlies): $120 (Includes team shorts & reversible training singlet)
2025 Non-Player Membership: $30 (Includes a free piece of team swag, while supplies last)
All benefits of membership are conferred for the 2025 calendar year.
Player membership fees cover Practice Fields, USAFL Administrative Fees, & BCAFL league dues.
2025 Estimated Average Practice Field Cost: $140/hr (Even higher if we’re practicing at a Seattle Public School)
Player fees DO NOT INCLUDE USAFL Regionals & Nationals dues. Members will be responsible for paying the USAFL directly if they participate in the tournament. 2025 player dues for those tournaments are as follows:
Regionals: TBD (All Players)
Nationals: TBD (All Players)
All paid members have voting rights.
This membership is for players in their first-year with the Seattle Grizzlies. If you played with another club previously, you would still be considered a rookie with us.
Rookies will receive a pair of team shorts and reversible training singlet (we try our best to keep inventory on-hand, but do apologize if your size is not immediately available)
This membership is for players whom have been members of the Seattle Grizzlies in the past.
Non-Rookie memberships will receive a piece of team swag (while supplies last).

2. Create a USAFL Player Account (only for new players or returning players who haven’t created a USAFL account yet)
If you are a new player or have never created a USAFL player account, please go to https://usafl.com/user/register and create your player account designating the Grizzlies as your Club Affiliation. If you are unsure whether you have an account, please contact Nick Papa at contact@seattlearfc.com to check. For all players, do not pay the $25 USAFL membership fee directly.
3. Liability Waiver (Online - Non-players may skip this step)
Liability Waiver (Online Form)
All players will be required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any contact games with the Club, regardless of membership. Waivers are available online at the link above, and will also be available at practices and game days.
4. USAFL League Registration (Non-players may skip this step)
Nick Papa will complete your 2025 USAFL registration by paying the USAFL membership fee upon confirmation of payment of Grizzly team membership fees, signed Liability Waiver, and completed 2025 Membership form.
